Good week! Your weekend homework:
Complete the ‘Apartment Renovation’ worksheet we worked on in class.
Read Chapter 11 and take notes.
Complete 11A.
Chapter 11 demonstrates how finding the number of triangles inside a convex polygon gives us the total interior degrees. (Number of triangles x 180° gives you total degrees.) Total degrees divided by the number of sides give you the measure of each interior angle.
For example, a square has 2 triangles. 2x180°=360° (total degrees)
360°/4 sides=90° (measure for each interior angle)
Total exterior angels always measures 360°.
Again, use your handbook to complete your worksheet. We will review in class on Tuesday.
Enjoy your weekend!
