3/21 weekend We have had a fun week talking and learning about our body's defense system: the immune system. Today we talked about how washing your hands with soap and water helps keep germs away. Weekend assignments: 1. Tell your family about the experiment why its important to wash our hands. Make fun signs for your bathrooms and kitchen that remind your family to "wash your hands!" 2. Please read the section on "antibody antics" on page 224- 225 and learn about allergies. Why does our body attack and fight off things like peanuts, mold, milk, dust, and other allergens? I will not be at school Tuesday, but Mrs. Dawn is going to start an experiment so we can see just how quickly germs and mold grows. We will follow 4 slices of bread through a journey. Have a great weekend!
